[WIP] - Ultimate Gear Modification
Welcome to today's news update featuring a brand new modification here on Crymod. The modification is entitled Ultimate Gear, and is currently in development by forum member iron_war_lord. The modification features vehicles, but not in their ordinary format; these vehicles have had all manner of objects attached to them in an effort to increase various traits of the vehicle, be it more shielding by way of concrete blocks affixed to the car, or extra firepower in the form of several Shi Ten mounted machine guns on the side of the vehicle.
Videos
We have picked just a few of the available videos for use in today's update, if you'd like to view the rest, they are available in the forum thread linked at the end of this post. The first two feature tests of these custom vehicles and the third is a proof of concept video for this modification working in multiplayer.
To see more of this modification, offer feedback on what you've seen here today, or view the rest of the videos available, please use the forum thread found here.

As soon as I saw that back plate on the police vehicle I instantly thought of Death Race and the Mustang featured in that film. Good work.

To those asking; I'd guess a lot of it has been done by simply linking the objects to the vehicles.

Very sweat. Do you made it by flowgraphs and linking? Flowgraphs not work in multilplayer. Please inform me.

owerpowered can be fun.
I would suggest that this kind of thing could be a very cool game feature. or gamemode.
anyone ever seen the show junkyard challenge?
a) find a method to in multiplayer in real time, place, and attac objects to eachother in real game time. perhaps using J.R. Mouse plugin that returns the id's of items, finding lua code to attach. (shouldnt be too ard. since you can attach models via lua to the actual player character why not to vehicle entity's too?
b) place a bunch of rendom objects, skelton vehicle plarts. guns and general machinery in a map.
c) combine with team based gameplay. give teams two seperate junkyards to build in. give them a time limiti for building their vehicle of destruction. when time is up. let them duke it out with their creations in a central arena.
make the winnner best out of X amount of rounds. so that each teams gets a chance to adapt their vehicles as well.
