RE: [Update] Lost World Returns
Lol at the shovel...
Nice animation, the only criticism I can think of would be that his COG does not seem to be positioned above his legs, but a bit more forward...and the tail needs a sharper point...

Looking good
Loved the intro video, except I don't think it should have blacked out when the water shook, and then displayed the name, it should have looked up at the sky and then displayed the name on the sky's background or something

Why should they have to beg sombody for Copywrite permission. Does some company own the rights to draw Dinosaurs? Or is it the name? If the names the case, just rename it to Dino World or Trex World, something like that and forget the Copywrite problem.
I could care less what you title the mod, just releasing it is all most of us care about, I think.

They're also using characters from the film, and things like that, which is all considered IP...and is copyrighted...

This mod has nothing to do with The Lost World Jurassic Park the movie in anyway there not using any characters etc... the only thing they are using is the name The Lost World Returns that is not copyrighted in any way.

Lost World is actually a reference to a old book , "The Lost World" written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Basiclly its about a area in deep jungle where a plataue exists so tall and isolated that dinosaurs still roam on it(in many ways parallel to the real Plataue or Tapui of Roraima in South America)
If I remember correctlt this mod has nothing at all to do with any of Chrihtons or Spielsbergs works. There was a mod before that did but it was done by a completly different team, and they had switched engines.

Looks good guys...but on the walk cycle on the dino's tail I think it could use a bit more overlap it seems a little bit too rigid.

This is just my opinion of the walking vid. I don't have any modding experience, so take my thoughts lightly.
The dino has a cat like or feminin look to it. Maybe reduce the hip sway some?
Really though, it looks pretty good to me and might look better once it is skinned.

Like both videos.
I agree with Blackice, the tail needs a bit for movement. As for looking like a cat I'm really not sure - If your looking for good references try the BBC series Walking with Dinosaurs. They spend ages working out how they walked. - although you probably found that ages ago!

Actually, an Albertosaurus should have a semi-rigid tail.
I'm not sure I like the way it moves his hands, it should be less hand movement, more arm/shoulder movement. But the previous videos showed exactly that (tail and arm movement over hand movement), so I'm guessing this was just a test on the hands, and now they're going to work on the rest.
The walk cycle is good, I think. An albertosaurus was what, 2-3 tons in weight? It should be somewhat gracile (at least more than a T-Rex).

Here is a dino walk...mind you the bigger the dino the more exaggeration there will be to the walk. So if you look carefully the tail will bounce abit but keep in mind that your dino is a bit smaller the tail wouldn't bounce as much but there will be a little bit of bounce. Same with the head, and next time don't throw animation on a turn table you do that with models not animation.

Nice update.. I like you're dev logo animation
For the dino animation, is that a T-rex? If so, he doesn't stomp nearly enough. He walks more like a raptor with stealth.
Just my opinion
