The choppers don't have collisions, so the fg checks the surrounding area, if there is a gauss particle, and makes the heli destructible. With collisions, thy fly into themselves and crashed always cause of the bad ai. But if your pc is to fast, the gauss particle come flys to fast for the fg. We lowered down the speed from 6000 to 700 but it seems, that every pc need to have an own speed... If there is an option to solve this nighmare bug, we would upload a fixed version, but the only thing you can do is to try this attached file and replace the "Scripts>entities>Items>XML>Ammo" xml in the GameData.pak in our mod folder.
Or, the easiest way would be to enable Antialiasing or something, that will slow down your pc to 25-30 fps.
After I finished The Harbour I'm working now together with Hamers/NecroPat21 and Jaco_E at the next level.
They'll help me with the FlowGraphs (Hamers), cutscenes (NecroPat21) and the AI navigation (Jaco_E).
The four most important features are the story, the rain scenario, the teamfights and the different gameplay parts.
I have written about 11 pages of dialogs an they all will be synchronised, but only in german with english subtitles.
By comparison - the harbour has only one page.
The map will be played in a big valley with banana plantations in the centre. You start in a cave, before a huge waterfall plunges into the depths of the valley. After leaving the cave, you are in the valley, but you first go separate ways from your team because of a special assignment, but later you regroup in the banana plantations. You will fight alongside Major Cafferty and the Marines under his command. I think it's important that the player has access to a variety of gameplay situations, so there will be a tank battle, and a short stealth mission too.
Rainy Days will not be like a normal singleplayer map, (Which is basically running across the island and killing all the enemies), it would instead be more like my first map ''The Harbour''
It should include something special with the team battles and the rain scenario. There will be nice level design and very good gameplay, unlike other maps where is an awesome amount of Level design, but it does not have any exciting gameplay situations.
In the last weeks we started an alpha test with a few people from Crymod and Crysis-hq.
Most of them are enthused and we got some great feedback to improve the level and fix the bugs.

I just finished The Harbour, and it was great fun. A little heavy on the enemies, but it was still enjoyable. Can't wait for the next installment, the screenshots are looking great!

Aw.. i liked the misty one..
Looks more tropical jungle-ish. Well i suppose it depends on the stage of the day, if its set in the morning, to be realistic, you should make it misty.
If its midday > onwards, Sunny.
. Gives the player a nice feel of a cool morning valley.
Just my opinion

I use XP 32 Bit.
Hm, the translation... A member named Quickkiller helped me with this.
After he had finished it it was checked by an english motherlanguaged member and he says that its okay.
I'll try to make it better in this map
@ AusViper I planned it exactly vice versa.
At midday it should begin to rain cause of the dramatic in the story.
