It's also Christmas Eve. And they'll probably include them in the first patch, but that's just me guessing.
Ahem. Crytek is split into different departments and the Level Designers don't effect the release of the SDK nor patch (or the other items you listed like the auto downloader), therefore they can make things like this.
So help me if this topic becomes another victim of the derailing bandwagon that has been plaguing so many topics on this board recently. This is not where you need to discuss things like "We want an auto downloader!" or "We want the SDK!" You go to the off-topic section for that.
And a very merry Christmas to all.

That's probably alot for this site......
People wouldn't really know about it if they didn't come here.
There's alot of players at the EA forums that have never been here, and wouldn't know about it if I had not made a thread about it.
The numbers will probably go up once the word spreads.

Thats why I said, mappers will make maps.... Because they probably don't and won't deal with anything else. I know its not there problem. Thats why at the bottom of the post I also said "I cannot sit here and believe that none of the guys at crytek had spoken up or is speaking up about a auto downloader."
As in, the people who are in the finacial backing and running of the company. Not the people making the assets. I would love to know who was the person who passed the idea of not having a auto downloader. Just so I can say, "you freakin idiot." Probably one of the worst VG business decesions i've come across in some time.
I'm grateful for all the artists work on the game. Looks great, plays fine (for me). These poeple put a lot of time and hours and i'm sure ex gf's..... to make this game. Just some of the things that got left out that would be a "admin" or "leads" decesion seem to be bad newby business ideas.
But I said thanks, and I'd rather them be doing something then nothing at all. Just I wish they prioritized stuff better.

Error 2855: The radio button group RadioGroup on dialog Maintenance Type has fewer than two buttons.
^I keep getting that error and it closes the installation. (I just did a reinstall of Crysis, so maybe it screwed up the file...)

Once you get that you have already installed the mappack. This happens when you install the map pack and activate the installer again to uninstall maps.
So uninstall the Crysis Tournament Mappack before you try to install them again.

How hard would it be for the map makers to make some flashing christmas lights for the palm trees like in the screenshot/wallpaper?
That would have been so cool to include in the maps....
(not to mention if they added the glowing eyes to the chickens)

Sometimes i just cannot understand people... 
MichaelBrobst2: there is a mod from some community guys here with Christmas trees, Christmas turkey and everything AFAIK. Go download and play with that if you like.
OR - if you have another idea, go and make your own map, then release it to the community. That's why most of us are here - to learn, create then share. Why are you waiting for Crytek to make a map that will fit all of your ideas/needs?

This is an excellent gift! I was going on the same lines as far as trying to recreate the origional maps too. I'm pretty excited to see that they're official releases.
